Loyal Legion article from the Oregonian:
If it’s going to be a first for something beer-related, it’s likely to happen here in Portland.
On July 10, The Loyal Legion, Chefstable’s massive, 220-seat beer hall will open in Southeast Portland’s former Portland Police Athletic Association building with a menu of Olympia Provisions sausages and 99-taps of all Oregon beer, the largest selection in the world.
“We don’t want it to be pretend English or Irish or German,” Kurt Huffman told The Oregonian’s Michael Russell in January. “We’re looking for something much more rooted in Portland’s past. A lot of the work we’re doing now (is asking), what does it mean be an Oregon craft beer hall?”
